Rochester, NY

Rochester is a city in Monroe County named after Col. Nathaniel Rochester. The city of Rochester sits south of the great Lake Ontario in New York State, latitude of 43.154N and longitude of -77.615W. Sometimes called Rachacha, it has also been referred to as The World's Image Center, The Flower City (as well as the Flour City) - Rochester NY is both a wonderful city to visit and to call home.

After the 2000 census, Rochester has an estimated population of about 220,000. It is the third largest city in New York. Rochester NY was ranked 6th in the 25th edition of the Places Rated Almanac for Most Livable Cities. Also, in 2007 Rochester was ranked as the top city in the country for quality of life by Expansion Management Magazine.
